What's Wrong?

I am not using claude code, I am using the Claude desktop app for chat and cowork. But it is the latest version.

I'm using a mabook pro running 26.5.1

  1. I tried to log in via SSO by clicking on "Continue with Google"
  2. The app then created a new user and asked me to choose a plan. There was no way to go back to log in.
  3. I accidentally clicked on one of the plans (I think the free one) and now it's showing me a chat onboarding modal

I tried quitting the app as well as deleting and reinstalling it, and am still stuck. I don't want to complete the flow, because I already have an account and I don't want to overwrite it. I am able to log into the claude web version.

This is very frustrating, as I cannot use the desktop app or cowork at all.

What Should Happen?

When I attempt to log in via SSO via Google it should just allow me to just log in. Instead, usually it says "your organization requires SSO login" and redirects me to another SSO flow.
