[BUG] /usage no longer shows limit consumed vs. limit (progress bar/percentage removed)

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Jun 2, 2026 by rssrn Closed Jun 2, 2026

Version: 2.1.160
Platform: Linux (CLI)

Problem

The /usage command previously displayed a progress bar or percentage showing how much of the session/weekly limit had been consumed. This is no longer shown at all. The new UI shows a cost breakdown and category analysis (subagents, parallel sessions, etc.) but gives no indication of limit consumed vs. remaining.

Steps to reproduce

Run /usage in Claude Code CLI.

Expected

Limit progress indicator (e.g. "34% of weekly limit used, resets Thursday").

Actual

No limit vs. consumed info whatsoever. The d/w keybindings switch to day/week views of the category breakdown, but neither shows a limit bar or percentage.

Impact

Users have no in-CLI way to know how close they are to their limit without going to console.anthropic.com. This has been the case for at least a few days on 2.1.160 (latest).
