[BUG] Remaining context percentage no longer represents actuality

Important detail: I am in manual /compact mode (not auto)
Bug Description
The percentage is wrong. I get consistent failures now before reaching 0.
I can no longer send any message other than my /compact (which works, but this is annoying as I tend to have strategic compact strategy in conjunction with how I have the agents manage context and task progress).

I guess I expect this to always hit
0... sort of like recklessly driving on empty with a gas tank. And im frustrated because I got used to that. Now it seems a bit less obvious.Maybe this makes sense if the new message would drive it to 0, or max return tokens?... but I'm not pasting a bunch of tokens in that input, no input works at this point.
Although isn't this expected? The 32k context it's adding on top of the existing one sounds like it performed (or allocated) space for
extended thinkingbut since that + the existing context exceeds total context, no point trying?Yea I get that - but as a user being able to drive down to empty was preferable UX / the 0 gave me much better awareness, now my new 0 is 10%. Nitty UX thing
Thanks for the report - we pushed some fixes out for context management recently and this should hopefully feel much better. Please feel free to reopen if you're still seeing issues with the context remaining %
