Refund request for recent Claude Max USD 100 charge - OSINT/research work not performed
Summary
I am requesting Anthropic support follow-up for a recent Claude Max plan charge because the purchase did not serve the purpose for which it was made.
What happened
- A Claude Max plan charge of USD 100 was made on June 1, 2026 for a Claude account associated with
jy***@gmail.com. - The plan was purchased specifically for OSINT/research work.
- The OSINT/research work was not performed at all, so the subscription is not needed for the intended purpose.
- A direct refund request has already been sent to Anthropic Support from the account email with receipt/invoice details.
Requested resolution
Please process a full refund for the recent USD 100 Claude Max plan charge and cancel the paid plan. If Anthropic cannot process the refund, please provide a clear written reason and the support case reference so I can provide it to my card issuer.
Support escalation
This is also being raised through Anthropic's official support path. If the refund is refused or not processed promptly, I will dispute the transaction with my card issuer and initiate a chargeback.
Privacy note
I am intentionally not posting the full receipt number, invoice number, payment details, or full account email publicly on GitHub. Those details were included in the private support email sent to Anthropic.
