Bug Description
Here's text you can paste into the /bug command to report the Claude Desktop transcript download issue:
Bug Report: Claude Desktop "Download transcript" link fails
Issue: The "Download transcript" link in Claude Desktop chat windows redirects to an error page ("What you were looking for could not be found") instead of downloading the transcript.
Expected behavior: Clicking "Download transcript" should download the chat transcript file.
Actual behavior: Link opens in Safari and shows error page.
Workaround confirmed: Transcript download works correctly when accessing the same chat through claude.ai in Safari web browser.

macOS Terminal app
Root cause: Claude Desktop appears to be incorrectly handling what should be internal functionality as external links, causing the download feature to fail when it attempts to open in the system browser.
