[BUG] Bash jobs start to fail in an extended session

Environment

• Platform (select one):
• [ ] Anthropic API
• [ ] AWS Bedrock
• [ ] Google Vertex AI
• [ ] Other: bash
• Claude CLI version: 1.0.86 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: macOS 15.6
• Terminal: Terminal App

Bug Description

• Bash commands work initially but start failing with generic "Error" messages after extended use
• Restarting Claude Code fixes the issue temporarily
• This interrupts long development sessions

Steps to Reproduce

Continue an extended session in claude code (perhaps several hours)

Expected Behavior

Should continue to work as expected

Actual Behavior

Bash jobs fail with no specific error message just the word Error in red
