[BUG] Claude Code Crash

Summary
The entire Claude desktop window disappears when using the Code section.
Initial crash happened mid-session; since then the Code-section dashboard
loads briefly and the whole app vanishes (no error dialog).

Fresh repro at 2026-05-26 11:47 (no WER entry generated this time):
11:47:11 CoworkVMService: VM started successfully
11:47:16 sdk-daemon connected, API reachable
11:47:21 Persistent RPC: connection ended (failed to read length: EOF)
Client disconnected without clean shutdown — entire app
window disappeared at this moment.
11:48:24 Idle VM teardown; graceful shutdown ignored
(HcsShutdownComputeSystem HRESULT 0x80070032 - force-terminated)

Claude process count dropped from 10 -> 1 across the crash; remaining
PID was likely cleaned up shortly after as the window was gone.

Repro

1. Open Claude desktop.
2. Click into the Code section.
3. Dashboard loads, then the entire app window disappears

(~3-30 seconds, varies per attempt).

Already tried (no fix)

• Uninstall + reinstall (multiple times)
• PowerShell troubleshooting steps from in-app guidance
