[BUG] VS Code extension goes silent and deaf

What's Wrong?
In a chat, the agent randomly stops responding. A reload of the window sometimes fixes the issue, but not always, I sometimes have to relaunch VS Code.
It continues working in background, but the interface with the chat is gone. The stop button does nothing, I can send chat messages, but I never receive an answer and apparently the agent does not see my messages.

The chat should not hang indefinitely

Steps to Reproduce

Additional Information
I'm using a VS Code remote on my WSL2.
The only thing to get the chat back is to reload the window or restart vs code.
