CLAUDE AI subscription not recognized

i had installed claude code for vs and got the subsciption when it directed me to the link on the web then when i came back i still cant ask anything still says not enough credits and ive refreshed the app and checked for updates and still nothing is working do i need to have the co pilot subscription ive been stuck for hours now trying to figure this out
