[Bug] Socket connection closed during extended API requests

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened May 20, 2026 by ianstorrs-cd Closed Jun 20, 2026

Bug Description
API Error: The socket connection was closed unexpectedly. For more information, pass verbose: true in the second argument to fetch()
What am I to do here? I am using Claude Code. I have no control over verbose settings in the fetch? This was during a 15 minute "thinking" that consumed thousands of tokens. Claude Code is so unreliable recently. I honestly feel a refund of all these wasted coding sessions is called for. Get your act together, Anthropic.
