What's Wrong?
Bug: Claude in Chrome extension not connecting to Cowork
Platform: Windows
What's happening:
Cowork can no longer access Chrome. The Claude in Chrome extension is installed, enabled, and signed into the correct account — but Cowork reports it as not connected.
What I've tried:
- Reloaded the Chrome extension
- Toggled the extension off and on
- Restarted Chrome and the Claude Desktop app
- Signed out and back in to both the extension and the desktop app
- Verified both are signed into the same account
Additional info:
This was working previously and stopped at some point. Everything appears connected but Cowork cannot reach the browser.
This appears to match issues #48806, #44541, and #36626.
What Should Happen?
Resolve this so i can connect to the chrome extension again.

N/A, just won't connect.
Steps to Reproduce
Try to connect to claud chrome.
