[Bug] Claude Code failing to execute multi-step Git workflows (commit, push, merge)

Bug Description
Your product has really gone downhill. A simple "commit push and merge" command could not be followed. I have wasted entire days worth of tokens due to whatever product changes y'all have made, the model going off on tangents without explaining itself, constant rework. Actual money and time of mine spent for nothing because your top line model is far worse than the one I used just a month ago.
