Problem Statement

Feature Request: Live Token Usage Display

Current behavior:

• Claude Code: Token usage hidden until clicked (bottom right)
• Chat/Cowork: No token usage display at all

Desired behavior:

• Persistent display of current token usage
• Auto-refresh as tokens are consumed
• Available in all interfaces (Code, Chat, Cowork)
• Optional: Show token burn rate, estimated cost

Use case:

• Quick visibility during long sessions without clicking
• Monitor when approaching token limits
• Budget awareness in real-time
