What's Wrong?
A ghost/phantom icon appears in the top-right corner of the Claude desktop app window on Windows, overlapping the X (close) button and making it hard to close the app. Date noticed: May 15, 2026.

What Should Happen?
The X close button should be clean and unobstructed with no ghost icon overlapping it.

I also have this issue. As for the "Invalid" Tag, the Claude desktop app helper agent suggested this repo would be the best place to report, could a mod please suggest a better place for us to report this issue?
for what it's worth, the workaround is to press tab while the app is open, and cycle between the elements with tab until the "open incognito chat" option is highlighted, then press enter.
