[BUG] Claude Code 'spinning' 'moseying' 'gitifying' for MANY MINUTES on each prompt

What's Wrong?

Give any prompt to Claude Code - it may take a reasonable/normal amount of time or it may go on for FAR TOO LONG even for the most simple tasks. Typical response time today is >10 minutes with NO OUTPUT.

What Should Happen?

Claude should execute the task in a reasonable amount of time - for the task I am using in this bug report 'typical' has been ~ 1-2 minutes

Error Messages/Logs

No errors - just mind-numbing wait for anything to finish

Steps to Reproduce

After much trial and tribulation (and about 30 minutes) I was able to get the first page built, despite having a very detailed plan.

Now, just asking claude to build another similar page, also with detailed plan, I'm here again.

I want you to create a detail page for the Cultural Heritage card of pages/learning/concerns/index.vue - I have a detailed document describing the task. DO NOT OVERCOMPLICATE THIS. Refer to CLAUDE.md for a reminder about the rules.
