[Feature Request] Support /compact command in non-interactive workflow chains

Bug Description
I want to be able to tell claude to /compact as part of a chain of tasks. e.g. to do task 1, task 2, then compact, then task 3 and task 4. I want to not have to be interactively present but for claude to still shrink used context mid work at predetermined stops.
