Problem Statement

I most often work in a single given working directory for most sessions. Occasionally, I switch to a different directory for a specific session. New sessions automatically pickup on the latest working directory (I guess from a recently used list). I get started on a new session just to find out I forgot to explicitly switch to my normal working directory. This is in the Claude Desktop environment, which I use extensively.

Proposed Solution

This could be stored in the Claude settings. When new sessions are started, just set the working directory to this default--if set. Otherwise, continue as is currently.
