[Bug] IME pre-edit text not displayed in tmux over SSH due to cursor position issue

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened May 13, 2026 by shkoni Closed May 16, 2026

Bug Description
(IME) pre-edit text not shown in CLI over wezterm + ssh + tmux due to broken cursor position: i use claude code on ubuntu with tmux over ssh via wezterm on windows. When typing Japanese we want to see pre-edit texts before confirming it by pressing space or tab. In most cases cc works fine though, in the case i found the internal cursor position may be broken hence no sight of pre-edit texts (or, left/right bottom corner).
