[Bug] Claude Code performance degradation - significantly slower execution times

Bug Description
Since Sunday morning, claude has been really slow. To provide evidence, I gave claude the same command as codex. A simple git status command followed by find statement. codex took 23 seconds to complete. claude took 10 MINUTES and 24 seconds.
