[BUG] Billing issue

What's Wrong?
[BILLING BUG] Max 5x gift redeemed successfully — account still on Pro after 2+ days, no support resolution
Posting here hoping someone from Anthropic can help, as support chat has been unresponsive for 2 days.
What happened:
- Loaded $167 prepaid credits to my account
- Attempted to upgrade to Max 5x directly — billing blocked with an "address changed" error
- Purchased a Claude Max 5x gift subscription as a workaround and gifted it to myself
- Gift redemption was confirmed successfully
- Account still shows Pro plan. Max 5x has never activated.
Total spent: ~$267. Access received: Pro.
This matches the bug reported by others (GitHub issues #45335 and #52073) where Max 5x gifts silently fail to apply after confirmed redemption.
I have an open support ticket but was told to wait for an email response with no timeline given. Every day that passes is lost Max subscription time I paid for.
Has anyone found a resolution? And can any Anthropic staff here help escalate?
