[Bug] Claude Code freezes with unresponsive token streaming and thinking animation loops

Bug Description
claude code completely freezing repeatatly. Either it's doing nothing at all but just showing the thinking animaion, or it starts for a few seconds to work, sending tokens, and the appruptly stops, and doesn't come back. This needsd solving.
