Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened May 9, 2026 by tanweer4u Closed May 9, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Environment:

OS: Windows 11
Claude Desktop (latest version)
Node.js: v24.15.0

Description:
MCP connectors Vibe Prospecting and Apify were working correctly for several weeks and stopped connecting as of May 8, 2026. On every restart, the following errors appear:

"Could not connect to MCP server Vibe Prospecting"
"MCP Vibe Prospecting: UtilityProcess spawn timeout"
"Could not attach to MCP server Apify"

Steps to reproduce:

Open Claude Desktop on Windows 11
Connectors are added and visible in Settings
Errors appear immediately on startup
Fully quit and restart. Errors persist every time.

What I've checked:

Connectors are properly installed in Claude Desktop
Node.js v24.15.0 is installed and working
No changes were made to my setup. It worked fine for weeks before breaking on May 8.

Expected behavior: Connectors connect successfully on startup as they did before.
Actual behavior: Both connectors fail on every restart with the errors listed above.

What Should Happen?

Connectors connect successfully on startup as they did before.
