[Bug] Background task execution not functioning

Bug Description
This Claude Code is useless lately. Can't run ANYTHING in the Background, and I am locked in to using it, since I can't use OpenCode or anything else... Feels like I am burning my cash here... Every time I open a Background Process, I get a CPU Spike, Claude Feezes and that's it... Had to restart the session on the SAME project 7 times already... I am sure that helps with preserving tokens, recovering all that context, huh?
