What's Wrong?
Dear Anthropic Team,
I would like to report a recurring issue I have been experiencing when using Claude Code.
Whenever I install Claude Code, even on a completely clean installation of Windows 10 (freshly formatted, with no additional software besides essential system components), the Task Manager starts behaving abnormally: it opens normally, but then closes on its own after a few moments, without any action on my part.
I have performed several tests to try to identify the cause of the issue, including:
- A full reinstallation of the operating system (Windows 10)
- Installing Claude Code as the only additional software
- Testing with different system versions and configurations
- Checking for possible conflicts with Windows drivers or services
After these tests, everything indicates that the issue is directly related to the installation of Claude Code, since the behavior only occurs after it is installed.
So far, I have not found any solution to this problem, despite multiple attempts.
I would kindly like to know if this issue is already known to your team and whether there is any guidance, fix, or updated version that resolves this problem.
What Should Happen?
Should Task Manager remain open?
