Problem Statement

Session names are auto-generated from the first message and cannot be renamed. Over time, the session list becomes hard to navigate — names are often truncated and unclear. The only workaround is writing a descriptive first message, which isn't always practical.

Proposed Solution

Add inline rename capability in the session list (desktop app / CLI --resume picker). A simple click-to-rename or right-click → rename would be sufficient.

Alternative Solutions

Power users running many parallel sessions across different projects would benefit significantly from being able to organize and label their sessions.
