[BUG]

- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I have been trying to have Claude Code (Windows) to write a .md document describing the current project since last night.
It has repeatedly said it was writing the document, then it either silently fails to complete and seems to quit, or I get a message that says "Something went wrong. Try sending your message again. If it keeps happening, share feedback so we can investigate. The session stopped responding. Send your message again to resume with a fresh process.".
This has happened 9 times. Even when I told it to stop doing what it was doing and start over from scratch and gave it new instructions, it keeps saying it will use previous context and will write the document and then it does not. It has burned through almost 20% of my max plan 5x tokens on this do far.
Desktop app Windows version Claude 1.5354.0 (9a9e3d) 2026-04-29T01:14:34.000Z
Session ID: 854f93e1-8379-4d59-8ba3-87ca7fbf8de0
Context usage (83%)
What Should Happen?
Claude should write a .md file that describes it's core functions.
Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce
This is not reproducible outside of this project. I have used the exact same steps on two other very similar projects and they finished just fine.
