[Question] Haiku model is unintentionally called through Vertex AI

I discovered from the Google Cloud log that the Haiku model is being unintentionally called through the Vertex AI API.
I suspect this is because Haiku is being used for background tasks, but is my understanding correct?
Additionally, what is the behavior of Claude Code if Haiku is unavailable?
