Billing country auto-changes from UAE to Egypt after platform upgrade — account locked, cannot update or upgrad

What's Wrong?
After the most recent platform upgrade, my billing country was automatically changed from United Arab Emirates to Egypt without any action on my part. This has completely locked my account — I cannot update billing details, manage payment methods, or upgrade my plan.
Note: Based on Trustpilot reviews and other GitHub issues from April 2026, this does not appear to be an isolated incident. Multiple users are reporting billing bugs, unauthorized charges, inability to manage cards, and failure to reach human support. Investigating my account may help identify a systemic billing issue affecting international customers.
What Should Happen?
Billing country and company details should not be removed on their own. Billing country and company details should persist after saving. and updating. Existing validated data should not be overwritten by a platform upgrade. Customer service shoyld address the issue after over 25 emails and chats , instead of refusing to comepeltly reply.

Your billing address has changed since your last invoice. To upgrade to Max, contact Support for assistance.
Steps to Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Update country to "United Arab Emirates"
- Enter correct company name, TRN, and address
- Save changes
- Country reverts to "Egypt" and all entered data is erased
- Repeated 20+ times with same result
- Adding new payment cards triggers the same reversion
- System now refuses to add, modify, or delete any payment method
Evidence that this is a platform bug:
- Invoice EACUHTCJ0001 (March 31, 2026) was issued with the correct UAE company name, address, and TRN — proving the system had the right data before the upgrade
- Annual Pro subscription was charged successfully to UAE card ending 4763
- USD 200 top-up was charged successfully to the same UAE card
- Both charges processed with correct UAE billing details
- Country change occurred after the upgrade with no user action

N/A — this is a claude.ai billing/account settings bug, not a Claude Code regression. The billing system last worked correctly as of Invoice EACUHTCJ0001 (March 31, 2026). The bug appeared after a platform upgrade in early April 2026.
