[Bug] Prompt submission sometimes hangs indefinitely without generating tokens

Bug Description
i finds ometimes i send a prompt but then nothing actualy happens, no tokens or anyhting, it just spins and doesnt even think, I can then ctrl c to cancel it and try again and then sometimes it works straight away other times it takes another couple tries of that to start thinking and using tokens / give response
