[Bug] Claude Code hangs indefinitely on prompt submission with no token updates

Bug Description
After submiting a prompt, claude was hanging with no response, no token increase, nothing happening, after interrupting it several times, it kept going like that, i went to the supermarket, when I was back, it was exactly 1 hour hanging
