[Feature Request] Make automatic memory system configurable with option to disable
Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Apr 30, 2026 by emmilco Closed Apr 30, 2026
Bug Description
The automatic memory system creates long-term documentation drift that's invisible to the user. Agents act on memories that were written without direct user consultation (often silently), and which sometimes cease to be relevant, causing unprompted behavior and residual errors without any evident cause. It should be possible to configure or at least disable this feature.
