[Feature Request] Add option to disable automatic message compaction

Bug Description
Do not allow automatic compaction. It has caused so much damage and wasted work when it happens mid-session at the most inopportune times. I'm trying to use my wrap-up skill (save state and write next session orientation) and it starts compacting and maybe runs out of token and have to wait until the next reset or just hits in the middle of a project load-bearing part, derailing hours of work, often with missing context or essential data truncated.
