[BUG] CoWork Freezes - Authentication error

What's Wrong?

I cannot access the Cowork in Claude Desktop despite having an active Team account. After i type a message in Cowork, authentication consistently fails, Claude Desktop Freezes and i have to quit the app.

Steps Already Tried via Fin AI Agent:

Multiple complete sign-outs and app restarts
Unlocked Mac Keychain using security unlock-keychain command
Turned off VPN
Verified system clock accuracy
Reinstalled desktop app
Reinstalled Claude Code

Confirmed Team account is active and should have Cowork access

What Should Happen?

I type a message in CoWork and get a response

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Claude Desktop
  2. Select CoWork
  3. Type something in the chat box

result: Authenticating, then pin wheel of death

Yes, this worked in a previous version

This issue has always existed but when it happens i could just quit Claude desktop and try again and it would work
