Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened Apr 28, 2026 by akindoworks Closed May 29, 2026

Bug Summary

When switching models rapidly using /model during a Remote Control session, the desktop app gets stuck in a loading state. After resolving, messages sent during the lag period are missing on the desktop app only.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Start Claude Code in terminal and enable Remote Control (/remote-control)
  2. Connect both a smartphone and desktop app to the session
  3. Rapidly switch models multiple times using /model in quick succession
  4. Desktop app gets stuck in loading/spinning state
  5. After resolving, chat messages from during the lag are missing on desktop app only

Expected Behavior

Messages should be resynced when the desktop app recovers from the lag.

Actual Behavior

Messages that occurred during the lag period are permanently missing on the desktop app. Terminal and smartphone app retain all messages correctly.

Environment

  • OS: Windows 11
  • All three clients (terminal, smartphone, desktop) connected via Remote Control
