[BUG] editing my type to censor literal text "ultraplan"

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Apr 27, 2026 by andrewphilpot Closed May 30, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In the claude prompt, I typed

"what do you mean ultraplan timed out? It says "proposing plan". Is it not still working?"

and claude multicolored ultraplan and then rendered my typing as

"what do you mean plan timed out? It says "proposing plan". Is it not still working?"

It is unexpected that text that I type is not faithfully retained in the conversation

What Should Happen?

Regardless of other actions, Claude should faithfully render the text that I type
