claude code folder access problem over Claude Desktop

What's Wrong?

spawn EFTYPE on Windows 11 when adding folder via Claude Desktop GUI. Claude Code works fine in PowerShell directly.

What Should Happen?

Claude code should access to my local folder.

spawn EFTYPE

Steps to Reproduce

1. open claude desktop on windows 11pro 24H2 machine
2. select </> to open claude code
3. select any local folder
4. write a check prompt like "are you able to see the contents of this folder"
5. spawn EFTYPE red message appears above the prompt box.
