Cannot scroll up to view conversation history - mouse wheel only scrolls within input box

I'm experiencing an issue where I suddenly cannot scroll up to view previous conversation history in Claude Code. The mouse wheel and scroll gestures only scroll within the input text area instead of scrolling through the conversation history.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Start a conversation with Claude Code
2. Have a lengthy conversation with multiple exchanges
3. Try to scroll up using mouse wheel or trackpad to view earlier messages
4. Observe that scrolling only affects the input box content instead of the conversation history

Expected Behavior:

Mouse wheel and scroll gestures should scroll through the conversation history to allow viewing previous messages and responses.

Actual Behavior:

Scrolling only works within the input text area and does not scroll the conversation history. All previous conversation content becomes inaccessible through scrolling.

Environment:

• OS: Windows 11
• Claude Code Version: Latest
• Terminal: Windows Terminal

Additional Context:

• The issue appeared suddenly during an active conversation
• The conversation history is still there but cannot be accessed through scrolling
• Keyboard navigation may or may not work as alternative

Possible Workarounds Attempted:

• Restarting Claude Code application
• Clearing terminal history
• Using keyboard navigation

This significantly impacts the user experience as it prevents reviewing previous context during longer conversations.
