Title: [BUG] Cowork and Code tabs missing on Claude Desktop v1.4758.0 / macOS Tahoe 26.2 — regression after v1.3109.0 fix

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues — this is filed as a fresh repro on the current latest build, after the fix advertised in v1.3109.0
  • [x] This is a single bug report
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Desktop

What's Wrong?
The Cowork and Code tabs are completely absent from the Claude Desktop app navigation. Only the Chat tab is visible. This persists on v1.4758.0, which is the current latest release as of April 24, 2026.

This appears to be a regression on top of the fix marked resolved at status.claude.com on April 16, 2026 ("This incident has been resolved in the v1.3109.0 release of Claude Desktop"). Multiple duplicate reports against intermediate builds remain open (#48676, #49428, #50895, #51871), and this report extends the affected-version range to the current build.

Expected Behavior
Cowork and Code tabs should be visible and accessible in the Claude Desktop top navigation alongside Chat.

Actual Behavior
Only the Chat tab is visible. Cowork and Code sections remain visible in Settings, but the corresponding tabs are absent from navigation. No error message is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Claude Desktop on macOS Tahoe 26.2
  2. Confirm app version is 1.4758.0 (Claude → About)
  3. Observe top navigation — only Chat tab is shown
  4. Restart app — issue persists

Environment

  • App version: 1.4758.0
  • OS: macOS Tahoe 26.2
  • Hardware: [Apple Silicon model, e.g. MacBook Pro M3 — fill in]
  • Subscription: [Pro / Max — fill in]
  • Interface: Claude Desktop App

Already Tried

  • App restart — issue persists
  • (Optional, if you want: full reinstall with cleanup of ~/Library/Application Support/Claude — issue persists)

Additional Notes
This is the current latest Claude Desktop release, which means the supposed fix in v1.3109.0 either did not cover all configurations or has been regressed in a subsequent build. Please reopen the underlying tracking issue or treat this as a fresh P1 — the feature is unreachable on the current build for affected users.

What Should Happen?

Tabs should be present.
