[BUG] Claude Desktop - 'Claude Code process exited with code 132'

What's Wrong?

When trying to start a new session via Claude Desktop (either Code or Cowork), immediately after 'Starting up' get error 'Claude Code process exited with code 132'.

Setup:
-macOS Sequoia, Intel (x86_64)
-Claude Desktop 1.3883.0
-Confirm exit code 132, VM healthy, binary dies on spawn

Tried all troubleshooting, including complete uninstall and re-install of Desktop app, still same issue.

Claude should simply initialise.
