What's Wrong?

In the Claude Code desktop app sidebar, the "Recents" list is empty when "Group by" is set to None. Switching "Group by" to Date or Project correctly displays all sessions.

Expected: "Group by: None" shows a flat, ungrouped list of all recent sessions.
Actual: The list is empty.

Steps to reproduce:

Open the Code tab in the sidebar
Click the filter icon next to "Recents"
Set "Group by" to "None"
Observe: Recents is empty
Change "Group by" to "Project" or "Date" → sessions reappear
Environment:

OS: Windows 11 Pro (10.0.26200)
Claude Code Desktop App
All other filters set to "All"

What Should Happen?

Group by: None" shows a flat, ungrouped list of all recent sessions.
Actual: The list is empty.
