Come on guys... first it's a read-only PostgreSQL MCP Server (no read or admin??)
Now you're taking away Claude Code's ability to do research and pull up documentation using fetch? that's insane?
It was amazing having Claude use Brave MCP to search and Fetch MCP to fetch documentation in real-time. I don't need to be in the middle slowing things down. I get this is a security thing, but can you make it togglable or make separate MCP servers where we can accept the risk? I'm developing in a vm with version control and secure env variables. I should be treated like an adult and permitted to accept these risks myself.
*edit: two things.
1) seems to be working now? which is odd because the error in the title was a system error, not something Claude was just making up (red text).
2) I LOVE CLAUDE CODE. It has been an amazing coding agent and partner. While of course it makes mistakes (we all do) the capabilities are phenomenal. The tool is amazing and I am deeply grateful to the team at Anthropic who must be working like crazy to build and maintain this solution.
-I felt my initial comment was a little brash, so I did want to recognize the considerable effort that goes into this product and express my gratitude. thanks all
