What's Wrong?

Setup:

  • MacBook Air M2, 2022 (Apple Silicon)

Expected behavior:
Cowork tab should appear in the mode selector alongside Chat and Code.

Actual behavior:
Only Chat and Code tabs are visible. Cowork tab is completely missing.

Steps already tried:

  • Fully quit and relaunched the app (Cmd+Q)
  • Signed out and signed back in
  • Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Claude Desktop from scratch
  • Confirmed app is on the latest version

Support response:
Support confirmed that my setup meets all requirements (Apple Silicon, Pro plan, latest version) but was unable to resolve the issue and directed me to file a bug report.

What Should Happen?

The Cowork tab should appear in the mode selector alongside Chat and Code in Claude Desktop.
