[Bug] Unexpected high token usage from single chat interaction

Bug Description
This is the only chat I had (apart from a 'hello' to haiku 4.5). used up 17% of my plan? am i doing something wrong? too much hooks or something? none of the hooks i have should use claude, they only write to file. what's happening please help?
