[Bug] Delete key binding removes entire prompt instead of single line

Bug Description
All of a sudden, the command delete key binding is deleting the entire prompt and not just that line of the prompt. It is making the tool completely unusable because this was not an option that I could enable, and I am losing so much information because of the habit of using what was previously the existing key binding! Please do not change things like this without making it configurable and prompted right away!
