[BUG] Claude Desktop Windows - Window cannot be resized below minimum width (regression, last 2 days)

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Within the last 2 days, the Claude Desktop window can no longer be resized below a certain minimum width. The exact version that introduced this regression is unknown, but it was working correctly before that. This makes the app unusable in split-screen mode on a portrait-oriented display.
No changes were made to display settings, resolution, or scaling on the machine. All other apps resize normally.

What Should Happen?

The window should be freely resizable to any width, as it was previously.
