[FEATURE] Let us choose to compact when were ready!

Problem Statement

I want to be able to compact when I'm ready... When I had a choice, I could tell Claude to save everything we learned and what was done, etc., and compact... But now idk if it updated or what, but now it's back to limiting me to compact, making Claude forget stuff without having a warning when compact is about to happen. It's very stressful when you're diving deep with Claude code to debug stuff and everything, and then you have no choice but to compact... take this feature off... It's very annoying... and I have the max version as well... That's very annoying for the 100-dollar package. Please fix this.
