[BUG] Sidebar overlay extends past sidebar

Resolved 💬 7 comments Opened Apr 16, 2026 by Burrowdan88 Closed May 27, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

When I open the sidebar a black blank space projects past the sidebar which then lays over top of the main work screen. Doesn't matter if I resize it doesn't matter if I go fullscreen doesn't matter if I open and close it.

What Should Happen?

The sidebar should not extend past where the sidebar actually is at least the overlay of it so there should be no extra black screen.
