[Bug] Claude Code process exits with code 1 on macOS after recent update

Bug Description
After the recent software update I am no longer able to connect to Claude Cowork. I receive the following error: Claude Code process exited with code 1. I am on Mac Os 26.4.1 M3 64BG ram. I have tried everything suggested by the claude support agent with no success. I need this back up and running.
