MacOS German Keyboard: Cannot Enter "@" Symbol in Jetbrains Plugin

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Aug 1, 2025 by seabass86 Closed Aug 15, 2025

Bug Description
On MacOS in any Jetbrains editor using the claude code plugin in combination with a German keyboard it is impossible to enter an "@" symbol for referencing files. An (at) symbol can only be entered in a prompt when the keyboard layout is switched to US English. In the plugin version for VS Code based editiors its working fine. The (at) symbol on a German Mac Keyboard is generated using option + l.
