What's Wrong?
Starting up with just one monitor didn't make any difference.
I have a completely white screen.
I've already tried the following steps with Claude via the browser.

I am experiencing a critical issue with Claude Desktop that makes it completely unusable.
System Information:
- Device: Mac Studio
- macOS: 26.3.1 Tahoe (25D771280a) – official release, not beta
- Claude Desktop Version: 1.1617.0
- Display setup: 2 monitors connected via HDMI
Problem Description:
When launching Claude Desktop, one monitor shows a completely white screen and the other shows a black screen. No menu bar or UI elements are visible. The app is completely unusable.
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Reinstalled Claude Desktop twice (including full cache/data deletion)
- Cleared all caches: ~/Library/Caches/Claude and ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/Cache
- Started Claude with --disable-gpu flag via Terminal
- Checked display arrangement in System Settings
Nothing has resolved the issue. Claude Desktop has never worked on this system.
Please investigate compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe and the dual-HDMI display configuration on Mac Studio.

I am experiencing a critical issue with Claude Desktop that makes it completely unusable.
System Information:
- Device: Mac Studio
- macOS: 26.3.1 Tahoe (25D771280a) – official release, not beta
- Claude Desktop Version: 1.1617.0
- Display setup: 2 monitors connected via HDMI
Problem Description:
When launching Claude Desktop, one monitor shows a completely white screen and the other shows a black screen. No menu bar or UI elements are visible. The app is completely unusable.
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Reinstalled Claude Desktop twice (including full cache/data deletion)
- Cleared all caches: ~/Library/Caches/Claude and ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/Cache
- Started Claude with --disable-gpu flag via Terminal
- Checked display arrangement in System Settings
Nothing has resolved the issue. Claude Desktop has never worked on this system.
Please investigate compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe and the dual-HDMI display configuration on Mac Studio. Claude Model
